Laser marking technology has slowly penetrated into people's daily lives, such as cell phone logos, switch panels, keyboards, beverages and so on. During laser marking uneven marking may appear, Tianhong Laser analyze the reasons as follows.

1.The laser beam quality deterioration

The quality of the laser source directly determines the laser beam is good or bad, bad laser beam will affect the marking effect.

2.Machine level is not adjusted, that is, the galvanometers or field mirror lens is not parallel to the processing table surface

Due to the galvanometers or field mirror lens and processing table is not parallel, this will lead to the laser beam through the field mirror to reach the processing of objects on the length of the distance is not consistent, and then the laser falls on the processing of objects on the energy will be inconsistent energy density, this time will appear uneven marking in the surface of material.  

3.The laser source output spot is blocked, that is, light spot is missing and not round enough after the laser beam through the galvanometers and field mirror lens. The laser output head, fixed fixtures and galvanometers, etc. are not adjusted, resulting in the light spot was blocked when the laser through the galvanometers. The spot presented on the octave slice after focusing by the field mirror is not circular, which may also lead to uneven marking effect.

4. Galvanometer signal exist problems, or galvanometer is interfered by external , or galvanometer deflection lens damage.

The impact of the process is as follows: there is a slight jitter of the galvanometer during the marking process, thus marking text or pattern is not clear; when laser beam through the lens damage area, it can not be well reflected out, resulting in inconsistent laser energy.

5.The reason of material itself

The uniformity of the material, the uniformity of the texture, the uniformity of the thickness of the coating, etc. will affect the absorption of laser energy by the material, when the material is not uniform enough, the effect of laser marking may appear uneven phenomenon.
